Snow in New York

Why would this year be different?

No GD and his horizontal passing attack. No over-reliance on running routes that required both receiver and quarterback to simultaneously read where the open spot in the coverage will be.

Stanley has been productive when given just a little more time in the pocket.

The Pinstripe Bowl could turn out like the Patriot Bowl game that Iowa faced against Minnesota State in the early 90's out in Pennsylvania. Huge snow storm the day of the game, bitter cold temps, hardly any fans showed up, but at least the Hawks beat the Screaming Eagles like 55-7.

Bad weather plays into BC's hands. They have a good power back and good run blocking. BC also has a decent defensive line against the run. Iowa will need to pass to open up the run.

Just so their isn't a lot of wind. I think our receivers are bothered by wind gusts. They aren't a sure handed bunch. BC has been vulnerable to big plays.

I live in NYC now and the chances of me going to this game are around 20%. Why would I go freeze my ass off and overpay for drinks/food when I can sit in my living room and watch this game on my amazing TV?

Because it is a bowl game in your home town. Geez. "So-called fans" these days. Doesn't your team deserve your support just because it is your team?
