The extra 15(?) practices don't make it worth it? The additional money thrown into the conference pot doesn't make it worth it? It doesn't help with recruiting either? Wow. Someone should have told that to JP before he accepted the bid. I wish my team could be sitting on their hands during bowl season instead of having a blast in a city where most of them have probably never been before. I'm writing my congressmen.

1. Bowl practices don't mean sh^t. Iowa has had infinitely more bowl practices than Clown U over the years, and look where we are now? We have had successively worse records for 4 straight years, and had the all-important FIFTEEN BOWL PRACTICES~! after each season, prior to this year. Huge, huge difference they make.2. The "extra" money, after being split 11 ways after expenses and ticket guarantees are taken out, is gonna be like a whole $50,000 per school. Big freaking whoop. The rest of the conference is LAUGHING at you over that one. 3. Having a "blast" in Memphis typically involves getting shot in a drive-by, so good luck with that.
