Average. Always good to add a bowl win to the "all time bowl record"

In a few years, many will forget how badly this year was screwed up and focus on a bowl winning season.

If we lose the game and Kirk's bowl record drops to .500 with no wins in 4 years, can we stop talking about how well he prepares for bowl games?

So yes, how Iowa does in bowl does affect how the season is percieved.

The 2008, 2009, 2010 teams that won their bowl ganes all helped improve the perception of how those teams are remembered.

The 2011 and 2013 teams that lost their bowl games did not hurt how those teams were percieved, but upset wins by Iowa would have help improve people's memories of those teams.

Easiest schedule Iowa can ever hope to get, a loss at home to a 2-win ISU team, no wins over rivals, and to this point, no wins over anyone (except UNI) with a winning record.. Although it appears Pitt could change that with a bowl win and finish 7-6...

I don't see how I can call this season a success.

The outcome against a 6-6 Tennessee team tomorrow doesn't change that for me, win or lose. 1 game out of 13 doesn't make a season.

Barta/KF are counting on this to be the mindset of the fan base.......If they win. What Jon keeps alluding to the administration taking for granted this fan base.

I hate to admit it....but this. The ISU result says it all.
 
Solid #5. Regardless of what happens in the whatchamacallit bowl. So very tired of KF giving us all the middle finger as he runs stretch plays with a fullback. Promises a 2 QB system then doesn't play CJ. At all. Recruits speed at the WR position then refuses to utilize it. Absolutely wastes a scholarship by being the only D1 school in the nation with 2 scholarship punters. Speaking of punting, refuses to let a playmaker return punts and fair catches everything.

And even if all the above didn't happen, the season would still suck because we lost to a horrendous 2-10 isu team. AT HOME!
