Maybe it's me, but I have never been on a site that has more pop-ups. Now we have Expedia slowing down everything. I am fine with the other 100 sites that I have used for the last 10 year, and I have updated my browser, my flash and everything else but HN is the slowest of all. I have been a member for over 10 years and it seems to be getting worse. Maybe Jon could back off the constant commercial advertising just a bit. Just saying.

Feel your pain Radman. I didn't mind every once in awhile a pop-up on home page. This site has Become unbearable so I did what young whipper-snappers did a long time ago and installed an ad blocker.
