If you want to see a talented team go watch the Martin Brothers 16 and under aau team when season starts. He is on there with a loaded team, several D1 players. Marcus Paige , Gesell. It would be a shame if Iowa didnt get a shot at a few of these kids. This Gesell kid is really good. The big fella has potential hes only 16.
I saw him a couple of weeks ago when they played Western Christian. He didn't impress me at all. He is still very week, which I know he is only 16. Then I read in the newspaper he had like 22 points & 22 rebounds the very next game. Hard to tell how he will progress.
I didn't think he is as good as cougall was when cougall was a soph in HS.

It sounds like he is progressing very nicely thus far. I'm told he and his family are die-hard Hawk fans. I think if we show continued signs of improvement and Lick's job appears safe when he's ready to commit, he may well end up a Hawk.
However, I also think that if Woodbury continues to develop there will be high majors all over him.
