This team is materially better than its record indicates. Oglesby's injury and Basabe's illness make our record look deceptively bad, but things could shape up nicely based on how the season has progressed. I think our little sputter with Mel on the bench may push us down to an 8 or 9 seed and I am hopeful that we will draw Wichita State in the second game. Once we are in the Sweet 16, anything is possible.

I'm glad Michigan keeps winning. If they would have ended up with 5 loses it would be a lot harder to get over the losing streak. As it is, it didn't hurt anything except NCAA seeding. If we end up with a 6 seed it won't have really hurt us there either.
