SI.com has two separate interviews, one with KF and one with Marvin McNutt and Mike Daniels interviewing each other. Both very good interviews. Love the passion the players have for football and the Hawkeyes. Oh Yeah and they love their fans!

As far as Kirk's interview, I just cant say enough about how proud I am to have him as a coach, especially the way he conducts himself in interviews. I couldn't imagine having a Bo Polini here or BB for that matter. He gives the Hawkeye program a great name, the respect everyone has for him is what keeps generating quality recruits!

Very good videos. When McNutt and Daniels talk about buddies in the NFL, it's pretty neat, they should show that interview to recruits (I have no idea what goes on during recruiting, they probably tell them that stuff already, you're right I probably shouldn't tell them how to recruit).

I don't usually watch many Kirk interviews, I didn't realize how candid he can really be. That question about the defensive line and linebacker depth caught me off guard, that he isn't/wasn't confident in the depth. Instead he let on that losing that many guys to the NFL on the D is a legitimate concern, and it's a concern they had. He didn't rip anyone but I'm so used to coaches saying stuff like "No, we weren't worried, we have faith in all of our guys". It's almost comforting to see that the questions/concerns/complaints fans always pose in their minds are already in the coaches' minds, even though it may not seem like it in interviews or during a game.
 
Good interview w/Kirk. Like the comment...NFL is a byproduct of what we do.

We are so lucky as fans to have had Kirk following Hayden. Some teams go years trying to find a coach that can continue what the previous one started.
