I was wondering what you guys might think. Should iowa jump cinncy and bosie this week in the BCS. Even if Bosie wins tonight. I know Cinncy won big today against Lousyville. And Bosie is playing at hawii and they aren't any good but it's still a tuff place to play. So what do you guys think

I heard the talking heads saying that if Iowa won tonight they would be in the Top 5 no matter what happened to the teams ahead of them.

I would think so. I saw a stat this past week that showed our opponents combined records and it was pretty impressive. On the other hand, Cincy's and Boise's were not so much. I could be wrong, I saw the stat passing by the tv.

My prediction for tomorrow's second BCS standings after today's games:

1. Florida (struggled, but won solidly over Miss. St.)
2. Texas (trounced a tough Mizzou)
3. Alabama (had to block two FGs against Tennessee to win, sound familiar?)
4. Iowa (showed moxy in East Lansing)
5. TCU (clobbered BYU in Provo, but overall SOS isn't good enough)
6. USC (defeated an Oregon State team that beat them two out of the last three)
7. Boise State (Hawaii is a tough place to play, but Honolulu is no East Lansing)
8. Cincinnati (Louisville isn't all that good this year, and SOS isn't great)
9. LSU
10. Oregon (setting up a showdown with USC)

At this point it really doesn't matter in the NC picture as long as Florida, Bama, and Texas continue to win.
