And johnson has now come out not happy about the greene signing. Titans coach said greene would get series and not be just a situational back and johnson wants to be the only guy as he is not a fan of a 2 back system.

There was a small write up on espn. But I am on my phone and can't link it.

Pretty much you don't pay 3+ million a yr for a situational runningback.

Thanks, I personally think this will cause the titans trouble with johnson. I am not sold on johnson being as good as he thinks he is but he would be better with greene to split carries with.

It just goes to show you that Johnson don't get it. This should be nothing but a possitive for him Greene and the team. He's strictly looking at it as his 22-28 touches are going to turn into like 15-18 and he just doesn't like that. I think a healthy Johnson that gets 1200-1300 yards and averaging over 4.5 yrds per carry is better than one that gets a ton of carries and averages close to 4 per carry or less. Not to mentioning how it could lengthen his tenure in being able to play. Greene sharing the load could mean 1-3 more years on the end of Johnson's career. That's a ton of money. He just wants to be the man be paid like it and doesn't care if they win or if he plays 3 more yrs or 6 more.

CJ held out a couple of years ago to get a big deal which he eventually got only to be regulated to a situational player........this isn't going to end well.
