SEC invitational aka the Mens basketball tournament

Would like to have seen Tony with a better game, otherwise am happy to see another almighty SEC team go down, and better yet at the hands of Drake. Any team that can win 30 games is better than a double digit seed.

If this is the future for the black and gold, I could get used to it, especially when we put a 42-30 pasting on Illinois! (Or insert your least favorite B1G team here)

Drake’s style was likely a tough adaption for Missouri. Good for Drake. But let’s remember that BT coaches will adapt quickly in order to challenge their style.

What I really liked was the athleticism of Drake’s players, who came from non power 5 teams. Every year when Iowa plays cupcakes early on, each team has one or two players that I say, “Wow. That kid looks power 5 ready”. There are a lot of really good basketball players out there. Drake apparently understands that.

Drake certainly identifies the quality of player, no matter what the star ratings

They are a breath of fresh air for certain

We will be extremely lucky to land their coach who is now an extreme Want
 
For what it's worth the B1G was 4-0 on Thursday.

On to day two of the round of 64 of the SEC Invitational. Heavy hitters like Maryland, Illinois and Sparty are on tap for today
