Season Tickets - Football

Fellow football season ticket holders, did you get your football priority point system in the mail this weekend? They said final instructions and seat selection time slots will be mailed in December, my question is will I get 1st chance at my current seats when that time comes? I am in a section that currently does not have a per seat donation, I'm anticipating that we will have to donate per seat next year. Just curious really, we've had season tickets for 19 years and IClub for the same amount of time.

I received the mailer.

I do not believe you have first shot at your current seats. You will get a time slot that matches your priority point system.

That said, if you are in a non-donation area, I doubt someone will snag your seats before you do. But your seat neighbors will end up elsewhere, so I don't see a big draw to staying in the same seats.

There is only one small area of the stadium that switches from non-donation to donation. I forget what sections those are. I believe SE corner? Or east side of South section.

No, you are not guaranteed 1st chance on your current seats. If someone with more points than you picks those seats first, you will have to select different seats when it's your turn.

When your time slot appears, you'll log into your account on the HawkeyeSports website and an interactive map of Kinnick will show up. Your current seats right now are not guaranteed to be there. It all comes down to Priority Points.
Whoever has the most points will have first access at selecting their seats. When it's your turn, you'll be able to see which seats are taken and which seats are available. Again, it all comes down to how many points you have. You can see how many points you currently have at HawkeyeSports.com. Just log into your account and click 'Manage my account.' Then click "view my priority points.' I have only been a football season ticket holder for about 5 years now and only donate in the $50 level. So I'm likely towards the bottom of the list. I only have 33 points for football, if that gives you a comparison.

I'm a relative noob to season tix (6th season) and hadn't donated to Iclub, so I'm not feeling confident that'll I'll preserve my great seating/friendly neighbors.

Long story short, Freak... Don't get used to sitting by me.

I like it where I sit except for the bunch of weak bladdered and starving people who walk past us about 30 times a game total. jerks, i will be glad to get rid of them

I advise you to sit in the middle of the section, rather than the aisle. I prefer the middle for this reason.

I buy mine via my sisters priority. I think she only has about 100 points. We need t donate. I do like sitting in that section.

i tried looking for you last weekend but I don't know if it was you or not. Did your wife get to come with you?

Agreed about the section. I really like it. And when others use my tix, they enjoy it as well-decent view & close to the action. I'm only at 18 points, so I'm guessing I'll be to the upper end of the section. And with my luck, prolly next to a booger picker smelly guy.

Yeah, the ol' lady was with me. We should be again this coming wkend.
You?

Does anyone know exactly where the visiting allotment will be? Where will the extra tickets from the North Endzone go? Will they scrap those all together?

I love our seats, but Row 62 is somewhat high. I'd love to get in the 30-50 range, although so does everyone else.

Yep. I'll be there. Last weekend I was in row 2. This week I'll be back in Row 5.

I have a lot of priority points with over 30 years of season ticket purchases, alumni, and a good chunk of donations.

I was able to pick early on during the first reseating process and I picked some nice seats but I didnt get placed there. If you can click on the seats you should get them but that doesnt seem to be the case.

Are they moving the visitor section with the reseating? That would be awesome! The visitors get terrific seating. I was just talking to a Becky Badger fan today-he's sitting by the NE end zone, row 5; and said its the visitors section tickets. Does Bary Garta not know other stadiums have their visitor sections in the end zone nosebleed sections? Why don't we do that?

They are moving the visitor sections, I think to every corner of the stadium. And sorry but there isn't any nosebleed seats at Kinnick.

The give visitors the seats in the first 5 rows near the goal lines. Those seats aren't great, in fact they suck. You miss a lot of the action if it occurs on your sideline, as you can't see over the players and others standing on the sideline.

I sit in section 109. Visitors get the very bottom rows of 108, 109, and 110 (the last section on the East stands). Then they also get the seats at the very top of 110.

The basically get the very edges. Those aren't good seats.
