Seantrel Henderson/USC

If Henderson were to get out of his LOI his likely destination would be "Da U" not OSU. That said he will most likely stay at USC....

yikes... i knew they were talking about letting that happen, but didn't know they confirmed it. USC might get killed on this! The quote below sounds crazy to me- sounds like free USC recruiting!

"schools with an interest in a USC junior or senior are allowed to initiate contact with the player"

Why is it going to be impossible? Is it because he didnt come to Iowa? Yes there are players who dont live up to the hype, but more times than not they make it out. Its all about heart and determination and none of us know if he has it or not, so i wouldnt be so quick to write him off just yet.

No, it's not because he didn't come to Iowa. It's called a prediction. Chill out.

If SH and his dad didn't ask the hard questions about the on-going investigation, shame on them.

If they did, got accurate info, and chose to ignore it, shame on them.

If they did and USC BS'd it, then shame on USC.

Either way, SH has ended up making a poor choice it seems.

Million dollar question....IF SH leaves USC, and indicates he wants to go to Iowa...would KF take him?

No, Ferentz would not take him. Ferentz pulled SH's scholarship offer at the last moment, I think he got a bad vibe from the dad or SH or both. Anyways I doubt that he'd go back on that decision.

I thought it was very interesting that he signed in March. I thought I remember a quote from dad or Seantrel that he was verbally committing to USC but would not sign his LOI until he heard about possible sanctions from the NCAA because he knew they were under investigation?
I also find it odd that he is not elegible. If USC wasn't under a microscope I am pretty sure this kid would have qualified already. I would have the think there is a definate chance this kid ends up elsewhere. I can see Miami landing him. USC is no longer going to be able to foot the bill for moving his family out there especially for the next couple years.

He gave them a verbal (Sean, not Seantrel) and then signed in March. If was pretty quiet because at that time, he was still not a qualifier, nor is he now. USC is in a tough spot because they can't afford to wait too long for him to get qualified. Also, if his case has to go to a clearinghouse, he might be SOL.

I would say realistically, he ends up at Oregon, Miami, or whatever town Sean wants to re-launch his career in.

USC has a couple of senior offensive lineman that might be available for a school like Iowa (who this season could offer BCS bowl potential along with a shot to start on the OL). In particular, Butch Lewis is a 5th year senior OG from Denver (as opposed to a kid who grew up in Southern California). Butch was honorable mention Pac 10 last season (even though he only started 8 games due to injury).
