this is one thing thats always puzzled me. Last year we had two WRs who could make plays after the catch, and we hardly ever ran the jailbreak screens.

we play teams with inexperienced qbs, like Jantz, or bad qbs, like PSU, and instead of playing tighter man to man, we sit back, let them complete short passes and get into a rhthymn and gain confidence.

we play PSU with a decimated defense, and we dont attack the true freshman starting corner. No deep shots at all early to stretch the defense. 30 of the passes we throw are undr 10 yard.

Im not even going to get into the clock mismanagement, or the current Big Ten losing streak.

with all the players who have left the last couple years, Rhabado, last years disappointing season, and personnel decisions like starting Sleeper over Bernstine, you really have to wonder what the heck is going on.

.

We've alway's played teams in any given season with inexperienced qb's and we've ALWAYS given them the short underneath stuff. Nothings changed so I don't get your point...

As for your next statement your exactly right, they did have a true frosh corner, but VB didn't have time to look for many deep balls. He pretty much had to throw the 5-15 yd stuff due to pressure.

ps. that true frosh qb played a dam good game

Who cares that you think the topic is stale?

Maybe HN should get your approval before starting a thread?
