He sure shoulda told his assistants what was going on. I don't really blame him for taking the job. It wasn't like he was their first choice. So thats why timing sucks. Any college coach changing jobs a wk before signing day isn't doing it for any other reason that a significant step up. The thing is even slimeballs are still successful look at Saben Chizek Kiffen Petrino. These guys have programs we only wish we had if only based on the direction of the program at this point. And yet if you polled Iowa fans none of us would want any of those coaches if they said they'd work at iowa for 200k a yr. It not only pays to be a slimeball but they have success too. It goes hand in hand so long as their teams are good.
