Scheduling night games

I work weekends and I work nights, so it's always a bit of a disappointment to see a night game on the schedule since I can't take time off that short of notice. Does Iowa still not schedule night games in November? Because it looks like only night game possibilities are in that month.

If I put in for time off right now, which day or days would you guys recommend I take off?

Historically the Big 10 has not scheduled nite games in November. Probably because of cold weather, snow, etc.

I dont know that this is a 100% rule but they dont do it.

Personally, once autumn is here after sept 21st I like to watch games in autumn daylight.

They have loosened the November night game rule. OSU at MSU Nov 8 is a 7pm ABC game. Nov 15 MSU at Maryland is 7pm BTN game. IL at OSU No 1 7pm BTN barely makes it.

All that said, its extremely unlikely that a November Iowa game is a night game this year. 00.01% chance.

If both teams are competitive and in the hunt; I could see the Wiscy or Nebby game as an evening or night game.

It's a long shot, buuuuuut... Better take the days off, just in case.

How much notice do you need? Teevee times are announced 13 days ahead of the game. Iowa doesn't schedule game times, those are determined by the networks.

The nebraska game is black friday th day after thanksgiving. Do you have to work that weekend? The black friday game most likely will start at 11am but that is not for sure.

The wisconsin game, I am guessing will start at 2:30 pm. Unless both teams are 10-0 then it might be a night game. Thats about the only chance.

Its been quite awhile since we had a night gm. I cant remember when was the last Iowa home night gm?

Not a fan of the night games for college football. Just calls to mind High School football games under the lights.

1. Friday NIGHT.. high school games
2. Saturday afternoons.. collegiate games!!!
3. Sundays.. pro games

The world needs order.
