The question is would Iowa's Big Ten schedule been much different in 2015 if the BigTen stuck with 12 teams and the Legends and Leaders divisions.

Short answer is the only differences are Iowa would have played Mich and MSU instead of Wisc and MD.

Assumptions
Purdue would remain Iowa's permanent cross-division rival.
Iowa would play 5 other teams in Legends. Neb, Minn, NW, Mich, MSU
Wisc and OSU would have rotated off the schedule after 2014 season.
Illinois definitely would have rotated onto the schedule in 2015
Either PSU or Indy would have rotated back, lets assume would have been Indy.

so teams that would have been on Iowa's schedule that are the same as Iowa's actual schedule this year.
Pur, Neb, Minn, NW, ILL, Indy

teams that Iowa would have played but they actually missed on this year's schedule
Mich, MSU

teams that Iowa actually played that would not been on the schedule
Wisc, MD

teams that would have played in the CCG
probably OSU vs. MSU/Iowa winner

of course if Mich and Iowa were still in the same division, Ferentz would have never given Rudock permission to transfer to Mich.

And as they said on ESPN last night, if we were under the old BCS selection, right now it most likely would be Iowa vs Clemson in the title game.

I like the way things are set up better nowadays, but do dislike missing psu, msu, Mich, & OSU all in the same season....just for the sake of tradition if nothing else.
