Say Goodbye: CyHawk Trophy is done

For the guy to try and compare the significance of the cheesy cyHawk trophy to Floyd of Rosedale was truly a reach.

Floyd has SO much history and is IMO the greatest trophy in college football today. The cyHawk trophy is insignificant with little to no history and Iowa dominates the series.

The game really doesn't deserve to have a trophy. To try and put it on par with Big 10 trophies is a true shame. Hopefully, the Iowa Corn Growers will just shelve any trophy.

If the clowns want a trophy, let them develop their own trophy for the game and they can put it on display every 4 or 5 years when they win the game. Otherwise, the trophy could go into a closet until they do win.

The one poster is right though, Iowa should start a string of victories like Hayden had when he owned the clowns. If Iowa begins to dominate the series again, both schools will lose interest and the series will be dropped.

I still would like the rivalry game to continue. Pretty much every big program has an in-state rival ... I think as Hawk fans we would like to see the game go away because it makes us nervous any time we play ISU -- even if, on paper, we should beat them. That being said, I do think ISU fans have ore to gain by beating Iowa than us beating them.

Unfortunately, they won't do that. We're going to end up with a sponsored trophy, which is worse than the POS they've had before.
