Saturday's Fly-Over

One of my Co-workers sent me this. He made some comment about having a decent seat for the fly-over. Picture was taken from the Press Box.

Someone in the press box in the know said that it was the lead pilots last flyover, so he dropped it to 500 ft, was supposed to have been @ 1000 ft.

Note you can't see the roof of the hospital buildings, meaning the photographer was no higher. Then gauge the vertical distance from the photographer to the first jet.

500 ft is roughly 50 stories. Looks lower.

They probably made that estimate in relation to the playing field. But still, that was closer to 300 feet than 500.

I agree... it looks lower than 500 feet to me, but what do I know? Pretty awesome picture and it was very cool to witness that flyover regardless of the altitude.
