Once again Iowa State plays poorly in their first game and then plays lights out against Iowa in Ames.

Iowa again squanders some opportunities.

Same old story, just as I predicted.

One thing Iowa must do and that is shore up their defensive pass rush. It looked much to be desired today. Last week it was not all that great either.

No celebration for me.

Just stating my observations about the recent trend of this series in Ames and my predictions.

There can be no denying the recent trend in Ames. Two years from now probably won't be any different because it won't be easy to get a win in Ames.

Also, don't count on a win against Northestern. It's doable, but it won't be easy. Northwestern seems to have our number.
