Sam Phillips Commits

Kaleb Browns replacement. This kid has a resume and a clear roadmap of how to use him. BF literally didn't know how to use any offensive weapon besides TEs occasionally. Lester never really got a chance to with Brown cause of his own decision making and lack of effort it sounds like. Hope to see this guy step in and help us out

Between this kid, Washington, and Wetjen, Lester has some real speed and playmakers in the slot/wings. If I was Lester, I would watch a lot of Andy Reed tape to see how he schemes to get quick guys like this the ball in open space via screens, flats, and crossers.

And we haven't even seen Brevin Doll yet he may be the fastest of em all. So Lester has options. If the Oline can be gotten right so Lester can run the passing game how he wants too then he's cooking with bacon

I totally forgot about him.

I think Iowa has been chasing the next Ed Hinkel for too damn long. We are just not going to be landing NFL prototypes that are worth a damn. We have sucked at passing for too long. But, give me a gaggle of underrecruited 5'9 guys that can run a 4.3 and cut on a dime and they could be coached up to be dangerous in the right scheme. And, with receivers like that, you are running shorter breaking routes which means the QB will be getting the ball out of his hands quicker. I would love it if Lester would take the offense to using smaller, faster receivers zig zagging all over the damn field.
