Saddest day ever...

I was so looking forward to going to Miami to watch the Hawks this year. Bought tix as soon as Jon announced the destination. Spent the next few days planning hotels and such. Unfortunately due to work commitments and health issues however we had to put a halt to the trip. Just a few minutes ago, I handed the tix over to somebody I didn't know for only a little over half what we paid for them. Luckily we hadn't purchased plane tix yet so we didn't lose anymore money. This was going to be our first bowl trip...oh well, maybe next year...:(

Ouch...that sucks HFN...I hope all is well soon with the health issues and like Cliche said, save up for that BCS title game next season!

You'll be able to work for the rest of your life. There may only be one chance to experience the Iowa Orange Bowl. That's my motto.

sad story indeed. get better and if it's correctable, do what needs to be done to prevent this from happening again......including eating gross food

Thats really bad news. I completely get the work schedule thing, feels like I live at work sometimes. Also hope that the health issues are nothing too serious and or can be corrected easily. Best wishes and heres to a much better situation next season.

HFN--please take care of yourself and get these medical issues out of the way. There will be bigger and better bowl games to come!

I just wanted to dig this one up to let everybody know that after three and a half months of doctor visits, tests, and worrying today I can finally start moving on with my life. Got the final results of my tests back today and everything came back clear! It's too bad it drug out this long otherwise I would of found some way to tell work "Screw off, I'm going to Miami!" Oh well, I have a clean bill of health and that is all that matters! Time to start living again!

This is chockful of awesomeness...congrats Norwalk!

That's great. Enjoy all all of the Hawkeye games you possibly can!

Who knows, the hawks might go somewhere really cool this year, and you can use that event to celebrate your health and life!

I consider the day after football season to be the saddest day ever...almost. At least with Hawk BB the way it is.
