It makes me sad that Iowa expects so much out of their players, but not each other as a coaching staff.
Early in the game, get a terrible spot on the Scheel catch, but we don't challenge the spot or even ask for a measurement. It's still 4th and less than one, on the other side of the 50 yard line and we punt.
Twice we go for field goals when we absolutely need touchdowns. Who cares if you lose 17-6 or 17-9, it's still a loss.
Play calling is horrible, whether or not it is on Greg or Kirk is irrelevant really, it is just bad.
Just really sad that the coaches don't coach with the conviction the players play with. Once in a while it would be great to see the coaches actually put the players in a good position to win instead of just be close.
