Rutgers Hate Thread

Just need to scrap all these crappy out of conference games and move to more conference games. There is no reason we should have such a long layoff between playing teams in our own conference

10 team conferences, no conference championships and playoffs sure seems cool right now. i personally do not like the unbalanced schedules. They aren't fair as to how a champ is figured and as a fan, not playing all of your conference rivals each year is BS.

I would love to see a 10 game Big 10 conf game slate each year. get away from the unbalanced 5 or 4 home game schedules, build a few more crossover rivalries, dump ISU or keep them every other year or so, one easier tune up game and one tough or P5 non-conf game whether it is ISU or some other team.

Big 10 conf games are much bigger contests in Kinnick, way more than ISU, beating Mich and OSU the last couple of years and almost beating PSU were great games, Period

2024 —- Iowa’s crossovers are Maryland, Indiana, Rutgers. Iowa has home games against Iowa St., Northwestern, Maryland, Rutgers, Wisconsin, and Nebraska.

2024. Nebraska and Wisconsin crossovers —- Michigan, Ohio St., Penn St. Heck, Northwestern even drew Michigan and Michigan St.

I don’t know who the heck is on our roster in 2024, but we will be a factor that the national media is going to hate.

Rutgers is the in-law that shows up to family reunions and sits in the corner stuffing his pie hole with free food and drink. Afterward, everybody asks, "Who was that guy in the corner?" Everybody shrugs and says I don't know. Then he shows up next year...

I am that in-law didn’t realize anyone noticed I was there.:)

Delany should just pretend that Rutgers and Maryland were never invited to the Big Ten, and just drop them everyone's schedule. And when they complain, his response should be "Who are you?", and hang up on them.
No doubt about it...

I like the emphasis at the end where you put in a comma and said period, rather than just using a period

You forgot, "...(W)earing a tuxedo t-shirt and 'Uncle Murray' shoes..."

What I hate most about Rutgers is that they're in the Big 10.

Their AD is some guy named Hobbs. He used to be the dean of Seton Hall Law School. Back when the law school scam movement started about 10 years ago, he was Public Enemy Number 1 or 2 for various statements that former Seton Hall students claimed he made about the value of law school. You gotta love the Dirty Jerz politico network where they can take a guy from a toilet tier law school and make him AD of the state's flagship school that is now in the Big Ten. No state government is perfect, but the level of incompetence of NJ (and IL) state government is truly remarkable. Oh well, at least Ron Guenther, the AD from Illinois who (i) oversaw the demise of Illinois football from approximately Iowa-level to Rutgers level and (ii) hired Bruce Weber after an exhaustive search by what was rumored to be a "one man search committee" is still pulling about $500k out of the State of Illinois pension system. What a country!
