Rumor is that Crean came out and addressed the crowd

Kind of weak sauce IMO. If a crowd isn't up for a game against a top five team, I wouldn't ask that crowd for anything, I'd play and beat the team despite them. Kind if sophomoric IMO.

Dude I'm pretty sure I know what crean is doing but the timing of how the video is portrayed! That's messed up!

Can the people that responded in this thread follow up with their last visit date/year to a home game at CHA? Thanks. I understand some people live a long way away, so I am not trying to insult anyone or question anyone's fandom. It's just that CHA is rarely as rowdy as it used to be in the early to mid 90s. I see all of the responses about how fans should be rowdy and loud but it's few and far between anymore. Especially compared to other venues. Just curious.

From the way it was explained during the telecast it was a video showed on the scoreboard before the game made by Crean.

And Crean is a tool. He needs to be T'd up for being on the playing floor during games.

Its like a 6th defender for the Hoosiers and he damn near got trampled last night during a loose ball right by their bench.

I'd love it in a game if when one of the Iowa players turned to go down court he just "happened" to run into Crean while he's stalking up and down the court in front of his bench.

February 17, 2013 for the game against the Gophs.

Wait, so Crean came out of the closet and told the Indiana crowd? Big props to him for being so open about it. I knew it was just a matter of time.

My last game was December 31st against Nebraska. Evidently it was a sold out game but there were a crap load of empty seats behind one of the baskets. The empty seats among the season ticket holders was to be expected with the bowl game being the next day. But I can only remember standing twice when everyone got up on their feet to help feed the momentum. Iowa won the game but it was a fight all the way to the end. Plus it did not help that there were not many student at the game since they were still gone on break.

My next game is this Sunday and I am hoping for a pumped up atmosphere. I can't wait for them to announce Fran as I hope everyone gives him a standing O.
