Rule question

Can a free throw shooter step on or over the line before the ball hits the rim? (FTR, I know the answer.)

Watched part of the PSU/Wisc game tonight. Last minute of the game, PSU stepped over the free throw line before the ball hit the rim. Couldn't believe this in back-to-back games without a whistle, wish I was smart enough to take the pic.

One of the few times Kirk has talked about officials was the hold called on Rafael Eubanks in the 2009 home game against jNW. If you remember Stanzi was hurt, the hawks were struggling offensively, Wieggers breaks through a hole and goes 50+ plus yards for a td to give the hawks the late lead...
Who?

Tyler Wiegers was 14 years old in 2009.

Wegger? Who was the freshman running back from the NW IA SE SD area opposite Adam Robinson in 2009? This player ended up being drafted a couple of years ago.
Ahh, you meant Brandon Wegher from Sioux City.

He had a lot of personal trouble and “left” the team, hooked up with Morningside after he got straightened out and broke a bunch of single season records, which wasn’t as spectacular as it sounds since some of those programs would lose to 4A high school teams.

He actually didn’t get drafted; the Panthers signed him and he played in a couple preseason games before he got cut.

Players in the lane can enter upon release
Shooter and players outside 3 point line can enter when ball hits the rim.

Violation.
