Rudock promoted to 2nd string QB

JR did well for himself post Iowa. Jimmy did not turn him into an NFL QB. JR is where he is for the same reason that Stanzi was at KC. A cheap back up who doesn't cost much and will do very basic things quite well and not get the offense destroyed if he comes in for a game or 2 and takes snaps.. Oh yea, also connections.

Not sure he would. CJB doesn't improve his pocket presence he'd get blasted in the NFL.

CJ will get blasted in the NFL if he stays in the pocket. CJ will never play in the NFL. Moot point. CJ is what Iowa needed in 2015.

So let me get this straight. According to some on here, the Iowa coaches got it wrong, the Michigan coaches got it wrong, the NFL scouts/talent evaluators got it wrong, the Detroit GM/coaches got it wrong by drafting him, and now they got it wrong by promoting him to 2nd string... but some dudes who post on here are definitely certain that JR is still not that good.

Ok, I just needed to talk that one through. Thanks for the help.

Actually Iowa coaches got it right when they promoted CJ.
