Rudock is our QB.....

Apparently so. Unless CJB was injured or something, but it sounds like that would be news to all of us if that was the case.

I just love how even after cj has performed well the firt sign of struggle kirk pulls him yet he leaves jake in after five poor offensive possessions.

What the hell does that even mean? Also this thread is not needed.

What it means is you're 5-2 and you've built your offense with this guy. There's 5 left. You going to change your offense? You going to run the spread option, which they think cj is? Jake fits this system to a T. Ride it out. Coach him up. Don't put square pegs in round holes.

My quest in search of a losers mentality is over

We are all sick of the KF offense mentality. It was slightly better under KOK, and it's a hot mess under GD.

Not a single pass down the field today. Not one. We were lucky Maryland went into a shell because they should have put 50 on us. Their 3rd String QB made a couple of plays, but they really relied on the fact that Jake was not going to throw the ball down the field, and blitzed the crap out of us.

You make the switch to CJ after the bye week. Try to save the season, cause we dont have many more opportunities to pull it back

I would've played both qb's to start the season. Certainly would've pulled Jake during ball state. Cj would've been my starter a long time ago. Just so we're clear.

I have zero faith in Kirk to change things at this point so might as well ride it out. 7-5.
Ready for a new coach and have been since 2012.

Rudock just makes so many poor choices. Takes sacks, misses open receivers, doesn't try to throw downfield, bails on plays too early, etc. He's incredibly frustrating to watch. Our offense just pisses me off. I sometimes honestly feel like KF and GD don't want us to score. I've never seen so many 3rd and 10+ downs. So frustrated with this team.

I don't think anybody's talking about totally changing the scheme.. Just put in the guy that's willing and able to throw the ball down field from time to time and has the arm to make those throws.. Pretty sure Iowa was running basically the same offense with CJB in the game against Pitt and Purdue. It doesn't mean CJB is a stone cold lock for being the savior of this program, but I thought the coaches were going to at least give the guy a shot? Apparently not, when you stay with Rudock the entire game, especially when the offense is struggling once again. I just don't get it.

Coach up Rudock? He's a junior with a year and a half of starting experience under his belt. How much more coaching up does he need at this point? Not like we're talking about a freshman or sophomore in his first year anymore.

He'll get it done no matter what the cost.

What? But KirkFer said he would play both , that CJ wuld play "significant minutes" and he wuld go with the "hot hand". U mean the implication that it wuld b a fair competition was a bit misleading? I mean, I did remind u all that "significant" is a subjective, relative term. Apparently "hot hand" is too; like, less than 6 ya is "HOT".

I was in MD, watched the local sports Saturday night, as they showed Jake's interceptions, the announcer said "here's the easiest interception [player] will ever make."

Fact. And it makes me sick.

Love it when MM and Smith average 7 yards per catch, same old unwatchable crap.

KF has turned off more fans, despite being 5-2, then is imaginable. It's really hard to believe, but well deserved given the money he makes and stature he has been given.
