Ruddock limitations force us to pass

Some Iowa fans are insufferable.

They call chuck long, chuck save your percentage long, and call for Vlasic during long's soph and jr season.

They want Poholsky over Hartlieb. Hartlieb over Rogers. Reiners over Sherman and on and on, and on.

They now want a guy who got beat out twice, that has completed 10 of 30 passes to start over a guy who is -

10-5 with pretty competitive losses to NILL(ick), MSU,OSU, Wsky, LSU; is completing around 65% of passes, with no ints, and 2-two minute drives.

Not ure what there is to say about this.

I'm in the camp that Iowa has a great QB situation. A solid starter that is demonstrating clutch play and improved play, and a very promising back up.

It's more fun to take it in, rather than ******** about everything....and in this case, the wrong thing.

So you wanted Jake Christensen over Stanzi?

They should use both QB's strengths and expose the defense's weaknesses. Why can't they put in CJ and run a few option reads for teams that cannot stop the run? You can always throw in Jake to manage the game when Iowa has a lead if you are worried about Sunshine giving the ball away.

Personally I didn't. However, let's be honest....interestingly there were knuckleheads wanting JC after Stanzi got the nod and we were sitting in a precarious spot after the Ill loss. Afterall he was a 4 star qb.

Since some are talking vindication, whoever made the decision to play stanzi was vindicated. Was it too soon, too late....worthless argument, but the staff made the right decision, and contrary to most, they make far more right than wrong ones.

His name is spelled Rudock. R U D O C K...........He is 2-0 this year and had several
Great wins, last year, too. (Que tape of Nebraska, Michigan).

THIS: (what Hawkeye Bob said) What Jake did on last 2 drives, in league of Long, et al.
