The DM Register article over this whole issue says that Ross P. said that he was committed and he will remain committed unless their is a staff change.

Everyone who says he is gone for sure, needs to relax and step away from the edge.

I can't think of another Iowa HS football player getting an offer like this from THE elite program of a generation. Nothing comes close to Bama football 2013 since at least the 60's or 70's. maybe USC last decade but they are scandal disgraced now.

IIRC Tavian Banks had offers from Nebraska and Miami (and lesser extent Washington).
