Rooting interest?

Any rooting interest for the Hawks tonight or tomorrow?

I know, I know win and we are in. i just enjoy the games more when I have someone to root for. Post who we should be rooting for and how it could be beneficial to the Hawks below.

I would say root for MSU and Michigan.

Then if Iowa loses (which I obviously don't want to happen), there's no potential that the Rose Bowl would take one loss Ohio State over Iowa.

TCU, Stanford, OkSt, Florida State, Auburn, whoever is playing Clemson. Wisconsin, NW, Pitt. If everyone else in the top 10 loses this week, we might get in even if we lose next week.

I'd prefer to simply win next week though.

Curious, are you just rooting for mayhem? Or do you think those two outcomes could benefit the Hawks?

Stanford winning would prevent Notre Dame from jumping Iowa. If Notre Dame wins it wouldn't surprise me to see them jump Iowa. An Oklahoma State win knocks Oklahoma out of the top 4 so even if Notre Dame won Iowa would almost certainly remain top 4.

In addition to Stanford and okie state, I think it helps to have Wisky get ranked and NW to remain in top 20, so them winning helps...also Indy over Purdue to become 6-6, and thus not another team we beat with a losing record.

Totally agree with the Wisconsin point of view also the Okie St and Stanford. I also believe we want Mich St in the Big 10 championship with the Spartans being the highest possible ranked opponent in the Big 10 championship game. I think all of these things help the Hawks but one thing still remains true, gotta keep winning don't want to leave it up to the committee if the Hawks would lose the Big 10 championship game. I just think the committee will drop the Hawks like a rock if they lost next week. REMEMBER HAWK FANS,ONE GAME AT A TIME GO HAWKS!!!!
