I've never been banned. I've only had a tread/post of mine deleted once. It was January '11. Cyrus Kouandjio and Darian Cooper were in the midst of their official visit to Iowa, and I started a thread entitled "Cyrus Kouandjio and Darian Cooper Commit to Iowa" and included this link:

Soooo recently Dear Leader gave me a time out from the cave for admitting I would have relations with a certain anchor-woman of considerable size, though I'm not sure if the hammer was for poor judgement in having the relations or the act of expressing it.

The only other time I was banned was for making the "whats your favorite swear word thread". To be fair though I wasn't banned for anything I said in the thread, no I was banned for what all the people who replied said because I encouraged them. Whats funny about that is I used to get grounded all the time as a kid for suggesting my brother do stulid **** then laughing at him when he did it. I guess I never leaned that lesson.

I was banned awhile back for getting after Chuck Hartlieb for supposedly remaining "neutral" during the recruiting of a wide receiver who's name is escaping me now. I suggested that, as a Hawkeye, perhaps Chuck should get off the fence and help out his alma mater....especially at a position that we've struggled recruiting over the years.

I think JD was in a bad mood that day!

you poke bears? Isn't that illegal? I just poke my wife. Sometimes I imagine she is the neighbors wife but I don't poke the neighbors wife.

I called Tom Kakert an information whore on HRreport and was immediately banned. I was a paying member as well. I called Jon Miller the same on the Scout site and received no ban.

It's also possible he just missed it but i'm pretty sure I sent him a personal message. :-(
Anyway, it was like 6 years ago have yet to be banned. I've tried to remember him not banning me while posting on his site. Thanks again Jon.

JD, made a wise old teachers move by putting DUff in as a mod. It's like when the teacher needs to leave class for a few minutes he tells the orneriest kid in class he's in charge and to keep everyone in line. The little fella is so happy with his authority he turns in to a saint. Duff has essentially been neutered on HN. JD, ideally would probably like to put Scorp and HawkFmNwalk in as rivalry mods, Thunder in as Politics Mod. and Ghost in as overall Mod. I doubt those boys would bite, but things would be all hunk dory on The Nation.

I think I was in on that thread, bashing Hartlieb as well. I'm still smarting from the loss of Darboh. The Hawks needed that guy.

Imagine how good he would have been as a back-up to another of Kirk's projects -- you know, another NFL coach's walk-on son. Or a guy from Humboldt. Sure, they're slow white guys but they don't wear jewelry and use the twitter.
