I will always put an asterisk by the guys in the steroids era.... their records don't count to me. Discuss....:confused:
 
What a waste of government funds. One day, in the future, we will look back on this steroid witch hunt and realize how dumb it was.

Gotta disagree on this... steroids was not the issue in this case. It was perjury to Congress. Apples and oranges. Money not wasted, if you and I did the same, we would be hauled in too. Good to see he was not above that law.

With the Feds, you are absolutely correct. Although, I don't like how they exercise their power.

In State Court people perjure themselves all the time with impunity.

If you mislead a federal agent, not to mention a judge or jury, you can, and most likely will, be charged with a crime.
 
I gotta remind you, Twin, that acquitted is not the same thing as not guilty. :cool:

clemens is a PoS and I hope le Hall of Fame remembers that and shuts his smug bully azz out.

Really?

Not guilty is not the same thing as innocent, since there really isn't an innocent in a criminal trial. Not an attorney, but I believe acquitted is not guilty.

Just saying. Acquitted not proven, and acquitted not guilty also both mean not guilty.

Maybe an attorney can help here.
 
While I do not doubt Clemens used steroids at some point in his career, I find it hard to believe Clemens was using them all along. You would think his body would have broken down at some point as he was able to pitch effectively well into his 40s.

I was referring to the whole process of the steroid hearings; it should have never come to a misrememberance.

Yes or No: clemens almost certainly used performance-enhancing drugs while playing in MLB.

Sorry, not what I was commenting on. If what you meant to say is that being acquitted not guilty is not the same things as innocent in this case, then I agree.
