Robert Gallery has turned out to be a very good LG

For some reason I thought about this today and looking over the numbers he has been very good since going to LF in 08. You never hear his name (great for a OL) and the Raiders run behind him all the time.

Just good to see him get one blocking scheme for more then a year and show what he can do.

Reason is me and my friend were wondering which past player would we most want on this year's OL. I said Gallery, size, speed, footwork, and he was mean. Every since he ran down that fumble vs. MSU years ago I have loved the guy.

I thought that was Purdue, but I don't remember exactly... Was that when the other team recovered our fumble and was running it back and Gallery tackled the ball carrier and two blockers all at once to prevent the touchdown? That was a whale tackle. It was awesome!

It was MSU. I can still recall it vividly, I was in STL watching it at my bro's house.

He was Ok on the right side of the line, then the moved him to Left Tackle and he was terrible... every raiders fan hated him and thought he was a huge waste of a draft pick... they have since moved him again to Left Guard. Last Year he sat out most of the season with a broken leg... and He is out now with a hamstring... YES He was a stud at IOWA, but Has struggled in the NFL.

Doesn't matter, you don't waste a #2 pick in the draft and pay that kind of cash for a guard.....
