If this is the advertisement that the BTN runs to project its image in commercials, do they not make decisions on the alignments taking this into account? I also wonder if alliances are being formed to build these divisions, such as Nebraska coming in and wanting a specific rival, and it appeared in articles I have read, that Nebraska wants IOWA as its rival(will that have pull?).
Plus, when competive "balance" is being considered, how does IOWA enter into a conversation when it applies to being included in the same division with OSU(just look at the record, its factual, not fear based).
It is getting old to wait, but it will be interesting to see how much common sense wins over dollars-n-cents.
