Oh and you can forget about that stellar recruiting class that they worked so hard to put together. We can all sit back and watch them play for others schools and dream of what could of been. And to all you current players also enabling these guys on social media, I hope you have the balls and stick around and go through all the losing seasons you are about to go through with an entire new staff, terminology you have to relearn, and maybe even a different playing style for which you weren’t even recruited for. But I don’t see you sticking around for that either since you now have the transfer portal to fall back in. Yeah I don’t see Barta making it through this unscathed either. There goes his spot on the CFB playoff committee. And when you former players see the Iowa football program as the B1G’s West perennial doormat, you can puff out your chest and say, “I’m a Hawkeye!”

Let’s clear out the trophy cases because they were earned on the backs of those poor unfortunate and under appreciated black boys that came through those doors before. I got a great idea, let’s take down all of the pictures of all the white All-Americans and just leave up the pictures of the black guys! Maybe that will make them feel better? It will. It will also have unintended consequences. Every current NFL player has started or supported this will be in the Not For Long league. Owners do not like troublemakers. And every current Iowa football player that made a supporting tweet, they will not every see a NFL paycheck. The NFL staffs are watching these developments and are taking notes. Look at the bright side. Maybe the West is getting better. Say Fleck wasn't a flash in the pan last year. Say Purdue turns around and last year was a blip from injuries. Say Lovie can hold Illinois around 6 or 7 wins. Say Wisconsin doesn't tank. Say Frost finds a bit of magic at Nebraska. Fitz ain't going anywhere at Northwestern.

There ain't a gimme on that schedule for a program like Iowa. Maybe one or two when teams are down. My delicate psyche would much rather have some exogenous event to blame this on than on some structural defect in Iowa football.

A change at the top will start it into a downward spiral into the depths of football hell. This is a self imposed death penalty for the program and all these idiots are committing suicide from the fallout. If it does somehow manage to make it through all of this shit, something, somewhere, there is gonna be a price to pay. It will never be the same. When you have a bunch of entitled teenagers end up taking over the program because coaches will be afraid to discipline them, this equals losing football. Do you think if you are in the army and you go tell your commander that your feelings are hurt because the enemy shot at you, and that they need a culture change in the leadership from the top down to make war less hurtful of your feelings. Have you talked to dudes in the Army or who have recently gotten out? Thank God every other country has turned into bigger candy asses than us. There was a city in Texas that fired their entire police department and replaced them with Constables with no arresting authority. They not only saved money, the crime rate dropped 600%! It just goes to show you, police presence actually increases crime because they also invent crimes.
