CFP committee released its third top 25 rankings of the season Tuesday night,
16. IOWA HAWKEYES (8-2)

Last week’s playoff ranking: No. 22
Iowa’s 22-0 win over Rutgers was an offensive explosion by the Hawkeyes’ standards as they racked up 402 yards of total offense in their first shutout victory of the season. It may not play the most attractive brand of football, but Iowa has a clear recipe for success as it stands at 8-2 on the year and is just
one win away from locking up a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game.
Might be the last time we see Cooper until the bowl game
Lindy did. If he is fully recovered, he strikes me as the type of kid who would want to play out his career for his teammates. But, I kinda doubt he will be fully healed in 6 weeks. He’s not going to risk generational money to play in a minor bowl game

LaPorta wasn't a top 10 draft pick. Neither was linderbaum. The money is differentLaPorta came back a few weeks after a knee scope to play in the bowl game...to each their own.
I have not seen a mock having Coop going Top 10. I think he is a first rounder for sure, but Top 10 seems like a stretch especially given that Top 10 picks are almost always penciled in as starters, and that would make Coop the first white cornerback to start in the NFL since Jason Seehorn over 20 years ago.LaPorta wasn't a top 10 draft pick. Was Lachey set to be back by the bowl game? I know All is done. Just had not heard any updates on Luke. I can see Cooper wanting to play if possible, but I can also see the staff even advising him that it may not be in his best interest to play.
There's a lot we don't see or hear about as fans, but it seems very apparent that KF and his staff have team that love playing for him. This theme seems to be every season regardless of the team's wins and losses. That is something that often gets overlooked.
I could see KF sitting Cooper down and allowing him to decide (if healthy) but also discussing the pro's and con's of mortgaging his future on a single bowl game. I would love to see him play but understand if he chooses not to.
