There are two types of people. Those that strive for perfection, knowing that it can never be achieved. And there are those that accept the fact that perfection can't be achieved and they don't try for it.Look, it's not that people don't want them in the tourney. It's the way they've gotten (hopefully) to the tourney this year that has left such a bad taste in fans' mouths after thirsting for so long. It would be akin to being super thirsty after a Bix 7 road race b/c there was no water to drink...and when you finally get to the water tent, the water had been peed in and some folks were washing their feet in the water. It would sustain life, get you rehydrated, but not really what you thought it was going to be. Being critical doesn't mean you are any less of a Hawk fan--no less so than those who fail to see anything wrong with the programs.
I'll bet these same people that suggest we blindly support whomever the coach is at Iowa, don't give the same support to the President in office that they didn't vote for. It's the usual kind of hypocrisy that everyone can see right through.
I guess you hate America if you don't support the President. And you aren't an Iowa fan if you don't think the coach is any good. Nonsense.
