Michigan's Rodriguez eyes Iowa's slow rise

Not bad, although I think comparing Ferentz and Iowa's situation to that of Michigan is a stretch. All he has to do is win 7 this year and 11 next year and then he will be set.

He bumped up very slightly on the respect meter with this comment though.

Rodriguez, who didn't hear Robinson's postgame comments to his teammates, said he's more interested in what Robinson does than says.

"That stuff is so overrated," Rodriguez said. "What are they going to do? Try harder? I wasn't in the locker room, but it doesn't surprise me because Denard is a competitor and he's taking more ownership of the team."

I've re-read that quote several times and am pretty sure he's paying a compliment to Norm and his boys.

No, you cannot read with basic comprehension. He says "If you..." then later he says "unless you're" indicating to a normally funtioning brain that the team lining up saying come get us is Iowa.

He said he was going to AA tomorrow so I took that to mean he was still drinking today.

The context of Rich Rod's, "Unless you're Iowa" was talking about defense's having to camouflage and constantly change what they're doing in order to be successful. Iowa doesn't have to do that and is still successful.

But it is a nice spin for locker room material that it was an insult to Iowa's offense.
