Rhoads would make a great evangilist

For a coach coming off a 3 win season beating 3 very bad teams you would think he just recruited a class that will win the NC soon. Other than getting a good instate player (whos dad played there) I would guess the class as a whole ranks near the bottom of the Big 12 as usual.
He is entertaining

It just might be time for another TV pitchman rocking a beard like that.

I live South of the line and I will take two please.

Way behind on my sports, thank you work.
This ISU thing is pretty laughable. How about make your other recruits feel insignificant.

no doubt - singling out and setting specific terms and conditions for an incoming can't be good - not only is he doing this to the other recruits in the class - but how about the rest of the team?

I posted this in another thread, but it works here as well:

I think the best way to put it is they have a severe inferiority complex in the ISU fanbase. I think what bothers me the most is Pollard and Rhoads plays to that base with billboards, peep talk videos, shots about Jan bowl games, petulant press conference scolding ND, Iowa and the media. JD put it well when he said those two play to the lowest common denominators, and the fan base just laps it all up like little puppy dogs. Most people would have the common sense to be extremely embarrassed by these two, but they have such an inferiority complex, instead of being ashamed of them, they relate to those words, as they make them feel just slightly better about ISU.

I am personally done with Rhoads and the football team. I used to like Rhoads, and his fire, but his act is old and tired now. I see now it isn't fire, but rather a thin skinned, whiny, over emotional man who can't control his emotions on (which is understandable) or off the field (which is inexcusable).
