Reynolds & Ulis both??

I noticed the headline to an article our friend Rob Howe has written insinuating that Iowa has a chance at both of them. I don't have an account with Scout to be able to read his teasing article. Was wondering if anyone else had or not.

There is definitely a chance...would be interesting to say the least!

Yes, it would be interesting. The Chicago connection would definitely be made. Whitney is a BB school. Also, it would be a good pair package. Reynolds is a combo guard who is known as a defender and shooter. That would appear to be a good combination with Ulis. Also, more Chicago players might attract Cunningham to the class as well.

We can, and will, do a lot better than Myles Reynolds.

Really? Because judging by how many of Fran's top targets have committed elsewhere so far and Iowa has no commitments I'd say recruiting trail has been a struggle so far for Fran for the 2014 class.

Must be the same for MSU too- no commitments.

Only OSU has more than 2 commits in the B1G. Most have 1 or none.

Only 5 total top 100 commits so far in the B1G and OSU has 3 of those.

I know you're a troll but try to be creative.

Congratulations. A version of this post is now becoming my signature, bumping out my Coker Thread quote that I've had for nearly 3 years.

Fran is working his @$$ off on recruiting trail but it hasn't paid off. It's frustrating. Two guys he wanted both end up at Marquette.

If Fran can get Reynolds no one should complain because we need some positive recruiting news right now. Ulis would be huge. Especially considering Fran has worked his tail off and offered first. But right now all I read and see is Iowa losing out on guys Fran has offered

Iowa needs to land a difference maker like Ulis with our roster to make us a contender for a Big Ten championship. We are missing those types of players that the other guys have. In basketball it can take just one.

Tell me again how Fran is missing on his top targets?

Scout.com: Men's Basketball Recruiting

You'll notice that only one player on that list is committed to play anywhere, and there are still plenty of Fran's top targets in play. Ulis is one he has a very good shot at landing. Nobody lands ALL of their top targets. Even Kentucky loses a few.

Seriously, just stfu.

That list isn't even up to date. Here are our offers:

Lourawls Nairn - uncommitted
Tyler Ulis - uncommited
Jordan Barnett - uncommitted
Malek Harris - Marquette
Bryant McIntosh - uncommitted
Ryan Luther - uncommitted
Sandy Cohen - Marquette
Josh Cunningham - uncommitted
Tory Miller - uncommitted
Justin Tillman - uncommitted
Sam Logwood - uncommitted
Larry Austin, Jr. - uncommitted
Michael Humphrey - uncommitted
Dominique Uhl - uncommitted
Marvin Clark - uncommitted

Malik Yarborough and Miles Reynolds are in there somewhere, too, but we with unclear offer status. Neither has committed.

Seriously, dude. Fran has "struck out" on 2 out of 15 or so active prospects, and they weren't even our top-tier guys. Educate yourself.
