Request to Jon...

I agree with you #2. Not many people think things through enough to underatand the difference.

I dunno........It feels similar to someone drinking that drops a racial bomb and then later goes back and apologizes, blaming it on the alcohol. Clearly, those thoughts were there the alcohol just gave you the courage to say it. Think about it Jack was a smart cat, he could have come up with more clever ways to come back at trolls.

I would love to have Jack back, but I understand why Jon has the permaban on him.

That's true in a lot of cases. But alcohol can also give you the courage to say things that you don't mean just to push someone's buttons.

Unless a black dude is bangin his wife or he lost a job promotion to a black guy why would he feel the need to 'push to someone's button'. There are a million different ways to go at a cyclone troll(insecure cyclone fan) than to go racial.

Don't get it twisted, there is no reason to go racial, often times there are other deep seeded reasons that go waay beyond race, but to go there over some silly cyclone trolls. Bottom line, i get what you are saying, but something as trivial as this and he loses perspective I just thought Jack was better than that.

I don't disagree on the "no need to go racial" part. I just agree with what someone said earlier that he was attacking ISU transfer's rep for being "thugs". The word thug is not intended for one race and it's kinda it's own form of racism to link it to only blacks. So to me, it seemed like he was saying the things he said because they were thugs, not because they were black.

Except Jack continued on to make racist comments directed towards black people in general, including saying something along the lines of, "I hope they enjoy spending the rest of their statistically shorter lives in the ghetto gutter." In case you weren't aware, there is a huge gap in the life expectancy of blacks to whites. http://www.businessinsider.com/huge-black-white-gap-in-life-expectancy-in-us-2014-8

Or maybe you're suggesting that Iowa State transfer players specifically have a statistically shorter lifespan than the general populace?

Actually i was suggesting that Jack was suggesting that thugs have statistically shorter lifespans than the general populace.

Why make fun of isu's black players when we have them too? Again, i think he was playing the thug card, not the black people card.

I knew Jack was banned but didn't know exactly why. From the personal messages I have exchanged with him in the past I suspect his preference would be that we just drop the discussion on his ban. Or at least let's drop his name from the conversation if the present dialogue is going to move forward. Just a thought...
