I am all for this....could then have 7 home and home opponents to just 6 single plays, where now there are just 5 home and home and 8 single plays.

Gotta agree. An extra B1G win would be helpful to ALL the B1G teams.

If this happens, does Iowa lose 2 Non-Con games? If we do, that probably brings the opponents RPI up. Just thinking out loud.

We will lose a home game! Instead of 2 OOC home games, replace with a home and road BIG game. Will that adversely affect BIG team's revenues?

I think it will do the opposite and increase the revenue... the lost games usually didn't have much TV coverage so now you have more TV coverage which provides more $$. I personally like it, too many of the patsy games were not covered and pretty boring to watch when they were on. Increased RPI will be an overall benefit for the B1N because it'll hopefully keep some more of the smaller division schools - that don't play as competitive schedules - from jumping B1N schools into the NCAA Tourney.
