For all of you Seinfeld fans, this team is reminding me of the episode where Elaine gets pumped up (falsely) by Kramer to believe she can run Peterman's company and produces the urban sombrero. Only then, does she find out his karate dominance is of little kids, at which point her confidence is destroyed. The Hawkeyes thought they had found their Katra. I think losing to Penn State was their seeing Kramer beat up little kids at the dojo moment.
