Some positives from tonight:

-we we just lost to the EVENTUAL NATIONAL CHAMPS...at least that is what every cyclone fan tells me.

-and we only lost to them by 3 in a game on their own home court despite hardly ever being in the bonus and with them being in the double bonus for almost half of the game.

-I also assume we made it out of that hsithole without anyone taking our stuff

-nobody got an eye gouged out

really not a bad night at all when you think about it.

Maybe I'm getting old but I'm over it already. I guess I didn't expect us to go into hilton and win anyways. Sure it sucks to lose to your rival, but last year when we won...cyclone fans told us it didn't mean much. It's a fricken non conference game in December and it's not like it's our last chance to get big wins. I wouldn't let it ruin your weekend.

It's never too disheartening to lose to a team ranked higher on their home court, but we flat out choked. Plain and simple.

I was not that impressed with ISU really. No really good point guard and big man presence.

They will win alot of games because of firepower, but I thought their defense was lacking and only a couple of scorers really.

Kane has has played better for them in the games I have watched. He had an off night tonight. The one thing that I think is a weakness for them is depth. That's why I was disappointed we couldn't get them in big time foul trouble...especially with the refs calling lots of fouls.
