Will he get drafted? Did he get a combine invite?

I think the scouts in the NFL know Iowa develops great TE's

I think he gets a late round pick. He blocks well and will be a good back up in NFL immediately

He did get an invite. He is, in my opinion, somebody who has to perform well at the combine to get drafted. He may just get drafted being from Iowa and our history with tight ends.

This certainly works in his favor given his athleticism and prior track experience. If there is one thing we all know about Reisner is that he is a solid athlete who had a solid year and has the ability to play at the next level. It will be up to him to prove it before the draft at the combine and pro day.

Yes, he did get an invite.

He may get drafted. He's a pretty good athlete and a very good TE. Not particularly flashy in the stats department, and would be next in a near continuous line of Iowa TE's that were drafted. Whether he'll be an All-Pro weapon like Dallas Clark, I don't know, but I do believe he'll at least get a shot at the next level.

And yes, we develop tight ends. I do believe if Reisner gets drafted, he'll be the 7th or 8th straight.

You have to use the Erik Jensen test. Was he better than Erik Jensen. The answer is yes, he was leaps and bounds better than Jensen. Jensen was drafted. Therefore Reisner will be drafted. I'd say Reisner was a better TE than Scott Chandler. Although they were close.

IMO he'll get drafted late as an extra blocker and special teams guy with the chance to prove that he can catch a little too. maybe 6th or 7th round, but enough to keep the streak going.
