Regular season RPI ends at 79

Wasn't Iowa's RPI something like 69-70 going into the MSU game? So Iowa's RPI drops almost 10 spots after a loss to a Top 10 opponent? I thought RPI loved teams who "play a tough schedule"?

I'll say it again - the RPI is a joke. The fact that it is 50 spots, give or take, below the Sagarin & Pomeroy just further reinforces my stance on that.

Bingo!

Who the hell thinks we are 30-40th? Gout Dooblieb?

Yep, these people are delusional, the more they see Iowa lose and blow games the more they complain about RPI. RPI is fine, the team just wasn't that good and the results reflected it.

Na, RPI blows and I would say that even if Iowa was number one in that ranking system. I don't have much tolerance for an awful statistical module that's overused.
