Had one on my pc this week that first wanted my user / pass (I gladly told them those- "bite me" "assholes"), then urged me to call a # so that "Microsoft Super Technicians" could help sort it all out.

Yup. I never stopped having the problem since my last post in the other thread about it. I agree that it's worse than ever.

I use the free "Ad Blocker" and haven't had a problem since. I won't use the HN app any longer because of all the crap that comes up. Download the app from your App Store and once it's downloaded, bring it up and put the HN url into the address line. Nothing more to do than that. It's free and easy. If u need help, let me know.

I think it's a subtle way of moving the troll traffic elsewhere. I don't get that crap.

Oh, and Microsoft doesn't support Windows 95 anymore.
