Recruiting Question

How much effect will last weekends lost have on what is perceived a very good recruiting class? I would think that the coaches would have to do some serious damage control to keep the verbals. What are everyone's thoughts?

It's just one game. If they are that thin skinned we'd not want them anyway. Now, if Iowa ends up 7-5 or 6-6 & looking bad, then that could be another thing.

by its self, probably not much. But if we see more of the same ....Maybe... However if the good recruits are coming in with the knowledge that they are an upgrade to what Iowa already has, then no big deal.

of course I could be all wrong.


Saban and Meyer may have already picked up the phone.

In the summer of 2015, it was said that Iowa's recruiting had hit a 10 year low. Then the 2015 season happened and Iowa got a bounce.

Right now the lack of depth on the OLine and DLine is testimony to the low level of recruiting Iowa has experienced.
