Number of times Badger coaches have laughed at Iowa's in game decisions. 100

Number of times Kirk has out-coached Wisconsin?

Kirk has been snake-bit and his answer is to say, "The programs are equal."

lol...whatever

Go find yourself a Badger forum.

This is the epitome of a non-answer.

I am not a Badger fan. I am in favor of Hawkeye success.

and they've had a lot of success! You seem to want to dwell on one negative. Based on the numbers I gave you earlier Wisconsin SHOULD be better than Iowa. I disagree with you that they are getting out-coached. The only time I can recall where they really got out-coached was that time in Kinnick when they ran a fake punt, everyone seemed to know it was coming except for the players on the field.

The Wisconsin fake punt gets WAAAAY more attention than it deserves.

The Iowa coaches told the PR to watch for the fake before the play, and they screwed up. Execution.

But it was ONE play. Wisconsin ran ELEVEN more plays after that to score, including converting another 4th down. Not to mention the blocked PAT. And Iowa STILL made it all the way to the Wisconsin 39 on the final drive.

Exactly. It was one play. That very drive Iowa had plenty of chances to stop Wisconsin and they didn't. Iowa's collective (players and coaches) handling of their last drive was abysmal, when all they needed was a field goal.

On that punt, not one Iowa guy on the LOS looked into the backfield, they all turned their heads as if they were puppies thinking they were chasing after a ball that never got thrown. Just thinking about it makes my stomach turn.

Wisconsin ran that play because they saw how Iowa covered punts on film, in fact had Iowa shown something different they were supposed to audible out of it but they didn't.

If the players were told to watch for the fake then just the 2 rushers were aware. There is not a Hawkeye within 15+ yards of the punter when he took off.

I'm putting this one on the coaches.

The players themselves said after the game that they were warned about the fake.

I guarantee you that's a flubbed coverage. Typical PR team has at least 2 rushers, and then another two "safeties" who ensure the kick happens. The safeties obviously jumped the gun and went to throw a block instead of finishing their job.

The coaches aren't infallible, but they can't suit up for them either.

That was a painful game.

A comedy of errors. Here, Wisconsin, take the win and head home.

Did you watch the play? I can dig up the video if you'd like, you won't see a Hawkeye player until the 45 yard line. I mean it's customary for coaches to say "watch for the fake" but that's not really preparing them for it.

Weird, I went from defending the coaches to this. That play was on the coaches from the formation they were in to how the players were taught to get back to block. Other than the 2 outside rushers the entire team turn their backs to the play and were sprinting back to their blocking assignments.
