Received Iowa season tickets in today's mail

which moved this day from an already 'excellent' to a 'stupendous' day! But has anyone other than me noticed that the printing quality and aesthetics of Iowa's season tickets are looking cheaper and cheaper each year? I mean, this year they're not even printed in full color -- just black and gold ink with cheap-looking player images.

Got mine today, as well. Also, recently read that student tickets at Kinnick are sold out. However, I know we will see some leave early, since the library closes earlier on Saturdays.

I got mine Friday,, what I noticed is that they usually throw in some coupons, or a magnet, or a mini-schedule. Not this year, instead I got some advertising from a company that I have never heard of before. The whores in the marketing department are alive and well.

Those valuable $10 food vouchers (per each *set* of season tickets mind you) that Barta tossed out there after the disastrous 2012 season are now as rare as a Cubs world series title.

Even the 2019 poster looks kind of cheap, probably had to cut corners to pay Barta's new salary raise

I got a new Vizio TV a few weeks ago right before the season!

Seriously, I can see why they wouldn't spend a lot of coin on tickets anymore. Heck, when ordering tickets have the time one just prints them off anyway. All they really need is a bar code. I can see why they don't think should spend the $$ on fancy tickets.

I did get a new TV, though!

Did they take those malware advertisements off of them yet? I bought a new tv recently and Vizio had a bunch of complaints about embedded ads in the load screen or something.

I have a 60 inch Visio tv. It's a great tv for sports and movies, but don't expect the remote control to last long. After a few years, last summer I had to buy a new one through the Visio web site. One plus is that the remotes are all the same so you don't have to program them for your tv.
